A pet toothbrush with a small round head, 14 mm across, a little over half an inch, on a slim straight handle. What goes into the mouth is about the size of a pencil eraser rather than a full brush head.
The filaments are 9 mm long and packed tight enough that the tip reads as one soft pad instead of separate tufts. The handle is PP, flat, 7 mm thick, with a hole at the tail to hang it by.
Why a head this small?
Because of what the animal has to do to let you in. A full-width head needs a wide mouth held open. A 14 mm pad goes in at the side, behind the lip, with the jaw barely moving. That is the entire design argument for this shape. It suits small dogs, puppies and any dog who will not open wide.
Does it really have 10,000 bristles?
That is the supplier's name for the filament pattern, printed on their own spec sheet. We have not counted them and we are not repeating the number as a fact. What is measured: head 14 mm across, filaments 9 mm long, brush 8.9 g.
How long is the handle?
155 mm, 6.1 in, end to end, and 7 mm thick. It arrives in a clear tube 25 × 165 mm; brush and tube together weigh 15.9 g, which is the tube doing most of it.
What toothpaste do I use?
Pet toothpaste only. Human toothpaste is swallowed rather than spat out, and some brands contain xylitol.
What colours are there?
Four, all in the same chalky finish: white, sakura pink, misty grey-blue and sage green. The handle is one solid colour top to bottom, and the pad is white on all four.
How do I look after it?
Rinse it and stand it pad-up to dry. A dense pad holds water longer than a tufted one, so leave it out rather than putting it straight back in the tube.

Waffle is a Bernese mountain dog. He is good at lying down and not much else.
