This is a vest-style dog harness with a bear face on the chest, in six sizes starting at 1.1 lb (0.5 kg), with the leash chosen separately.
A twelve-week-old puppy is smaller than every harness in the shop, and the one you buy for him is outgrown by March. This one starts at 1.1 lb and goes up in six steps, so the second one you buy is from the same page.
It starts smaller than most
Six sizes: 1.1 to 4.4, 4.4 to 7.7, 7.7 to 15.4, 15.4 to 22, 22 to 33 and 33 to 49.6 lb (0.5 to 2, 2 to 3.5, 3.5 to 7, 7 to 10, 10 to 15 and 15 to 22.5 kg).
Pick the leash, or take none
The harness on its own, or with a 4.9 ft flat leash, a 4.9 ft tangle-free bungee leash, a 9.8 ft tangle-free bungee leash, a 9.8 ft retractable leash, or a 16.4 ft retractable leash.

The supplier lists the material as cloth. The harness is 3.5 oz (100 g).
What size should I order?
Measure the widest circumference of his chest and add 0.8 to 1.2 in (2 to 3 cm), then read across. The supplier measures by hand, so allow 0.4 to 0.8 in (1 to 2 cm) either way.

Yes. Both straps run through sliders, and the leash clips to a metal D-ring on the back.

By weight: XXXS is 1.1 to 4.4 lb (0.5 to 2 kg), XXS is 4.4 to 7.7 lb (2 to 3.5 kg), XS is 7.7 to 15.4 lb (3.5 to 7 kg), S is 15.4 to 22 lb (7 to 10 kg), M is 22 to 33 lb (10 to 15 kg) and L is 33 to 49.6 lb (15 to 22.5 kg).
How is this different from the other bear harness?
That one comes as a set with its own matching leash and its sizes are given as chest measurements. This one starts at a smaller size and lets you pick the leash.

Waffle is a Bernese mountain dog. He is good at lying down and not much else.
