This is an interactive dog puzzle toy, 6.1 in (15.6 cm) across and 2.0 in (5 cm) tall, with a ball that rolls in a channel, a turning knob and cut-outs that hold food until he works it out.
He sleeps from nine until ten and then wakes up looking for a job, and if you have not given him one he will pick the rug. This is a job that takes a while and ends in food.
The ball is the part he has to solve
It sits in a channel molded into the top panel and it rolls when he pushes it with his nose. Food sits where the ball has been, so moving it is the only way through.
Three more places to hide something
A turning knob in the middle, a round well beside it and two bone-shaped cut-outs. He can empty one and still have three to go.
It takes soft food or dry
The parameter card lists it as a wet-food slow feeder holding 6.8 fl oz (200 ml). Spread something soft into the channel, or drop kibble into the holes.
The top lifts out of the ring
Two parts. The panel comes out of the outer bowl, so the channel gets washed rather than wiped at.

Waffle is a Bernese mountain dog. He is good at lying down and not much else.
