This is a retractable lead: a molded shell 180 mm (7.1 in) long holding a flat woven tape on a sprung reel, with a single thumb button on the top edge and an alloy swivel snap hook on the end of the tape. It comes in a 3 m and a 5 m version, which is 9.8 ft and 16.4 ft.
Waffle is far too heavy for this one. The supplier's own spec sheet sells it for small and medium dogs, and that is where we are leaving it.
Push the button forward to let tape out, press it back to lock
One button does both jobs. The supplier's mechanism slide shows it pushed forward for free running and pressed back to lock the reel where it stands. There is no second switch and no separate ratchet.
Flat tape rather than round cord
The reel carries a flat woven webbing tape rather than a round cord, wound flat on the drum. The cutaway slide shows the tape, a steel coil spring under the reel core, and a molded stop block on the tape just above the hook.
Two lengths on the same shell
The shell is 180 mm long in both versions. Only the length of tape inside changes: 3 m on one, 5 m on the other. Weight, grip and button are identical, so the choice is only about how far you want the dog to get.
Four colorways, all two-tone
The supplier's color slide prints four: white, white with grey, pink with grey, and black with grey. The grey is the soft insert around the grip opening and the disc on the side. The shell around it carries the color.
What we do not have for you
No weight: one figure is declared for both the 3 m and the 5 m version and it cannot be right for both. No tape width, no shell thickness, and no dog weight limit printed anywhere. The supplier prints a pull figure on the tape slide; we have not tested it and it is not part of this listing.

Its spec table prints ABS for the shell, woven cord for the tape and alloy for the hook; the data field in the same feed says polypropylene, so the shell plastic stays unconfirmed on this page. The hook is an alloy swivel snap, and a separate slide names it zinc alloy.
What clips to the collar?
A swivel snap hook on a short tab at the end of the tape, so the tape can turn without twisting. Just above it is a molded block that stops the metal hitting the shell when the tape runs all the way back in.
Which of the four colorways is which?
Four to choose from: plain white, white with a grey insert, pink with a grey insert, and black with a grey insert.
Why is there no weight on this page?
Because we cannot get one we trust. The supplier declares one weight across the 3 m and the 5 m version, and two meters of extra tape has to weigh something, so at least one of those two is wrong.
