A tea set on a deep yellow ground, covered edge to edge in painted flowers in blue, pink and purple, with a gold line at the rim and foot. There is a lidded tea bowl, a saucer and six small cups, in yellow or red.

Louder than most things we stock, and meant to be. It is a gift set rather than an everyday one.

Ten pieces, which is what the option name says and what the maker’s own photograph shows. The lidded tea bowl counts as three because the bowl, the lid and the saucer are three separate pieces.

The wooden stand and mat you may see in photographs are styling. They are not part of the set.

Hand wash recommended. Colours can vary slightly between batches because the glaze is applied before firing.
