This is a dog life jacket in six sizes covering 3 lb to 88 lb, with a handle across the back and adjustable straps at the chest and neck. Fourteen colourways.
Dogs who can swim still get tired, and a tired dog in open water is a problem you solve from the shore or you do not solve.
The handle is the point
A strap across the top of the back lets you lift him straight out of the water, into a boat, or up a dock ladder, without reaching for a collar.
Buoyancy panels
Foam runs along both flanks and under the chest, which is what keeps his head up rather than just keeping him afloat sideways.
Sizing
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and around the base of the neck.
- XS: chest 13-17 in, neck 10.5-12.5 in, 3-6 lb
- S: chest 17-22 in, neck 12-16 in, 6-11 lb
- M: chest 22-27 in, neck 15-20 in, 11-22 lb
- L: chest 27-32 in, neck 18-23 in, 22-39 lb
- XL: chest 32-36 in, neck 21-27 in, 39-61 lb
- XXL: chest 36-42 in, neck 23-30 in, 61-88 lb
Care
Rinse the salt or chlorine off and hang it in the shade. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
