This is a padded vest-style dog harness with a rigid handle across the back, reflective webbing and a hook-and-loop panel on each side, in six sizes and ten colors. Both panels arrive with a patch on them reading SERVICE DOG.
There is a step at the end of the path and he needs a hand up it, and grabbing a collar turns a step into a lift by the neck. The handle on this one sits over his shoulders, where his weight already is.
The handle is the reason to buy this one
It is a rigid loop stitched across the back, not a strap you have to find. Use it at a step, at the vet, or on a stairwell.
Harness only, or harness and leash
Every one of these has the handle. The choice is whether a matching leash comes with it. Harness + matching leash adds a leash in the same color, with a padded grip at the end. Harness only is the vest on its own, for a dog who already has a leash he likes.
Panels on both sides, with a SERVICE DOG patch on each
There is a hook-and-loop face on the left and on the right. In every supplier photograph, in black, navy and pink alike, both faces are covered by a patch reading SERVICE DOG. The patches are held on with hook-and-loop rather than stitched, so they lift off and the faces underneath take standard patches in their place.
Reflective webbing through the straps
The supplier states the webbing reflects at night; we have not measured it and make no brightness claim.
Padded, not a strap harness
The chest and back panels are padded rather than bare webbing, which is what makes the handle usable without digging in.

Waffle is a Bernese mountain dog. He is good at lying down and not much else.
